A vehicle flew off the elevated HOV lane on the Southwest Freeway in Houston, causing northbound lanes to shut down and potentially trapping occupants inside.

The northbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway are shut down after a vehicle flew off the elevated HOV lane and onto the highway below.
A Houston Transtar camera at the Southwest Freeway and Beltway 8 shows the vehicle blocking the freeway.
It is unclear if anyone has been injured in this incident, but other drivers have been seen using sledgehammers to try and free people trapped inside the vehicle.
