DENISON, Texas (KXII) - Phase two of the Designing Downtown Denison project is expected to wrap by mid-August after more than two years of construction that has reshaped the city's downtown core.

Main Street is fully open to pedestrians.

However, side streets and alleyways continue to face closures as construction work continues."I want everybody to know that you can easily get to your favorite business. A lot of them are putting out on social media how to get to them. But Main Street is entirely open and pedestrian traffic is not impeded for that," said Donna Dow, Denison Main Street director.
