A youth softball coach in Harris County is accused of sending sexually charged messages to a deputy posing as a 15-year-old girl.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A newly released affidavit is shedding light on the messages a youth softball coach is accused of sending to a deputy posing as a 15-year-old girl.

PREVIOUS REPORT: Man who coaches youth softball accused of online solicitation of a minor, Pct. 1 says Nathan Velez, 37, was arrested Thursday following a two-month-long investigation by the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable's Office.

The married father from Magnolia first began messaging the undercover deputy on an undisclosed online platform on April 1, according to the affidavit.
