ALPINE, Texas (KOSA) - The Lobos began their switch to Division II in 2023.

The NCAA announced on Friday that Sul Ross State had proved it had the governance, compliance, academic success, financial stability and student-athlete welfare to compete in Division II. The decision ends the school's three-year provisional membership.

This rise to DII will benefit everyone in the Lobo Athletic Department.
