A fatal worksite accident is under investigation by the Comal County Sheriff's Office.

The incident took place around 11:19 a.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of Golden Coast Drive in New Braunfels, officials said.

Deputies responded to reports of an accident involving a work crew, and upon arrival discovered 34-year-old Cornelio Martinez of Somerset, Texas, deceased at the scene.
