Granger High School standout Tre Castillo earned statewide recognition after being named to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 2A Second Team All-State Team following an outstanding 2026 season.

Castillo was one of the Lions' top performers on both sides of the ball, helping lead Granger to a 14-9-1 overall record and an 8-4 mark in district play.

The Lions advanced to the postseason before falling to Goldthwaite in the bi-district round.
