Hutto ISD recently announced the hiring of Daniel Spencer as the Hippos' new offensive coordinator and head powerlifting coach.

Spencer joins the program with an extensive background in football and strength training.

A former wide receiver at the University of Houston, Spencer also has a previous connection with first-year Hutto head coach Casey Walraven, who coached him during his high school career.
