BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Customers having to carry large items across multiple blocks, and lunch plans jammed up by parking spots taken up for the entire day.
Those are just some complaints from store owners like Cindy Roberts about the parking in downtown Bryan."People are wanting to come downtown and they love shopping downtown. If we don't have the retail, people are not going to come downtown, it'll just be the 9 to 5 people," said Roberts, the co-owner of Burr's Unfinished Furniture.
This week, the Bryan City Council passed an ordinance in an effort to free up spots more frequently.
