SPRING BRANCH, Texas - Overnight, law enforcement arrested a USPS letter carrier in the employee parking lot of the post office on Town & Country Way with several stolen checks that had been mailed to Spring Branch ISD, according to court records reviewed by KPRC 2 News.

Eurey Dewayne Smith, 33, is still being processed into the Harris County Jail as of this writing.

He's expected to face charges of mail theft.
