The United Way of Howard County/Big Spring has a new Executive Director, and she's someone with deep ties to the community and a passion for helping others.

Dana Johnson has officially stepped into the role, bringing with her a background in public service and a clear vision for strengthening local nonprofit efforts.

Johnson said she was drawn to the United Way because of its unique role in the community - not as a direct service provider, but as an organization that supports many others.
