BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The Hispanic Forum of Bryan-College Station celebrated local students and community leaders Saturday night during its 28th Annual Hispanic Forum Scholarship Gala at the Brazos Expo Center.

Organizers said the evening's primary mission was student support: $227,500 in scholarships awarded to 94 students.

The Forum noted that 203 qualified applications were submitted this year, with scholarship selections based on academics, leadership, service, life challenges, personal growth, and resilience.
