1 person killed, DPS trooper seriously injured in head-on crash near Alpine
A DPS trooper was seriously injured and a pickup truck driver was killed in a head-on crash Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 67 east of Alpine.

ALPINE, Texas (KOSA) - A DPS trooper was seriously injured and a pickup truck driver was killed in a head-on crash Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 67 east of Alpine.
According to DPS, the crash happened about five miles east of Alpine in Brewster County and involved a DPS car and a pickup truck.
