The Jourdanton ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a consulting agreement between the school district and JISD Superintendent Dr. Tracy Canter.

The decision was part of the July 13 school board meeting.

It was at the June 8 meeting when the board accepted the retirement of Dr. Canter, effective July 31. She was first hired as the JISD Superintendent in December of 2022. JISD Trustees are Vance Jupe, Mike Castellano, John Garcia, Kendall Schorsch, Greg Vyvlecka, Missy Korus and Nicole Rakowitz.
