At Monday's meeting of the Brown County Commissioners Court, approval was given to two changes in the County employee health care plan.

Currently, if a County employee wants to include a family member or members in the County health care insurance plan, the employee pays a flat $2oo per month for that coverage.

In the new plan, the amount charged for family members will vary according to how many family members the employee wants to cover with the County health care insurance, and the employee will pay 22% of that additional insurance cost.
