LAREDO, Tex.

(KGNS) - The City of Laredo is temporarily suspending traffic at several international bridges and closing multiple river access points due to floating debris and expected high water volume along the Rio Grande.

The bridge suspensions affect commercial traffic at the World Trade Bridge, as well as vehicular and pedestrian traffic at International Bridges I and II. The suspensions will occur during the passage of large debris - including buoys, tree trunks and other floating objects - under the bridges.
