(KGNS) - The Laredo Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center, is hosting a community blood drive.

The event is set for July 22 at the Chamber of Commerce, 5702 McPherson Rd, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Dr. Julie Bazan with the Laredo Chamber of Commerce said every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and only 3% of those eligible to donate actually do.
