$90 million renovation reaches highpoint GEORGETOWN - The Williamson County Juvenile Justice Center expansion project celebrated a milestone Friday in a topping-out ceremony as employees signed a beam that will be raised to the center's highest point.

The $90 million renovation of the building at 200 Wilco Way will add 48 new beds, an associated learning and exercise area, a regional courtroom focused on family services, a new dedicated control room, and a larger intake and release area, according to officials.

Existing spaces will also be reorganized to create additional visitation, counseling and administrative areas.
