BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - With temperatures in the high 90s and air conditioners running around the clock, Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) says residents do not have to choose between staying cool and keeping their bills manageable, but it will take some strategy.

BTU Communications and Marketing Specialist Trey Reeves told KBTX that the air conditioner will always be the biggest energy drain in a home.

He said making even small, deliberate changes to how and when it runs can add up to real savings on a monthly bill.
