Community partners step in as ACS loses power for days

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio Animal Care Services is thanking community partners who stepped in to help house animals after the shelter lost power for several days.

San Antonio Animal Care Services is thanking community partners who stepped in to help house animals after the shelter lost power for several days.

Hundreds of cats and dogs were left without access to air conditioning, computers or shelter files.

The outage affected between 300 and 400 animals at ACS.
