SCURRY COUNTY, Texas (KCBD) - The Scurry County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death believed to be related to a previously reported missing person case.

Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, Scurry County deputies responded to the north shoreline of Lake J.B. Thomas near the Bull Creek channel following reports of a body found along the shoreline.

Responding deputies, along with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Colorado River Municipal Water District, were able to recover the deceased individual.
