HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Police Department says a man in a stolen car led them on a chase that ended when the car crashed through the building around 10 p.m. on Sunday.

According to HPD, it began when an officer spotted a car reported stolen earlier in the day.

Once officers tried to pull the driver over, he fled and began a chase for about a mile before losing control and crashing into a business at Scott Street and Mallow, police said.
