HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - Monica De La Cruz visited the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Edinburg campus on Monday to present a grant to fight against the New World screwworm.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - Monica De La Cruz visited the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Edinburg campus on Monday to present a grant to fight against the New World screwworm.

De La Cruz presented the $2. 2 million federal grant on behalf of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to UTRGV for screwworm research.
