A new community effort is underway to preserve and share the rich history of Howard County, inviting residents to bring their stories, photographs, and memories to the table.

The newly formed Howard County History Buffs group will begin meeting on the fourth Thursday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Big Spring Heritage Museum.

The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 23.
