A maintenance worker was shot multiple times after confronting a group of young people outside an apartment complex in southeast Houston early Monday morning.

A maintenance worker was shot multiple times after confronting a group of young people outside an apartment complex in southeast Houston Monday, according to police.
The shooting happened shortly after midnight in the 3600 block of Old Spanish Trail.
Houston police said officers with the South Central Patrol Division responded to reports of a shooting and found a maintenance worker who had been shot multiple times.
