SCURRY COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - The Scurry County Sheriff's Office has identified the person found dead along the shoreline of Lake J.B. Thomas on June 14. According to the release the person was 22-year-old Aryan Holmes from Big Spring.

According to a release from the sheriff's office, deputies responded at around 9 a.m. that day to the north shoreline of the lake near Bull Creek channel after receiving a report of a dead person.

The body was recovered and an autopsy was ordered.
