A wrong-way crash involving an 18-wheeler and a small sedan shut down part of Highway 6 in College Station early Saturday morning.

The crash happened just before 5 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Highway 6 between William D. Fitch Parkway and Barron Road.

According to police, preliminary information indicates the crash was caused by a wrong-way driver on the highway.
