A ribbon cutting Thursday heralded the completion of roadwork on CR 460 just in time for the opening of the new Coupland Junior High and Senior High School in two weeks.
The $1. 6 million project, paid for by a voterapproved 2023 county road bond, creates turn lanes into and out of the campus.
"This project ensures safety for students, faculty and staff," Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles said at the July 30 ceremony.
