Hinojosa stops in Laredo to pitch 'Corruption Tax Refund' plan for Texas households
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa visited Laredo to promote her 'Corruption Tax Refund' plan, which would return nearly $25 billion from Texas's rainy day fund to state households.

LAREDO, Tex.
(KGNS) - Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa made a stop in Laredo July 10, pushing what she is calling a "Corruption Tax Refund."The state representative is challenging Gov. Greg Abbott in November.
She said the state has been sitting on nearly $25 billion in the state's rainy day fund and wants to return that money to Texans."This week, we have rolled out my plan... to put money in your pocket with a $1,500 check to every Texas household," Hinojosa said.
