SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - The city of Sherman and Grayson County have reached a mutual agreement to trade maintenance responsibilities for certain roads, an effort officials say will reduce confusion caused by years of annexations, speed up repairs, and put the right equipment in the right hands.

Sherman City Council approved the agreement last week.

Grayson County Commissioners Court approved it this week.
