KILLEEN, Texas - For many military families, back-to-school season arrives alongside another challenge: starting over.

As service members relocate during the summer PCS season, children often head into a brand-new school while parents manage the financial strain of another move.

On Saturday, Operation Homefront's Back-to-School Brigade helped ease some of that burden, providing 400 military children with backpacks and school supplies at Texas A&M University - Central Texas in Killeen.'A little less stressful'Among those who attended was Colby Thurmond, a military parent of 16 years whose family is preparing to relocate to Germany."Stuff like this is amazing because it gives back to families where they don't have to worry about spending money for those types of things for their kids," Thurmond said.
