Cameron County, Texas (KOSA) - The body of a Midland kayaker was found after a three-day search for the kayaker who went missing in the Cameron County coast.

According to Cameron County Park Ranger Division, on September 5, at around 4:10 p.m., a citizen told Park Rangers that he was worried about a kayaker, 59-year-old William Raney who he last saw offshore.

The rangers with the help from Texas Game Wardens searched for Raney in the gulf until they found his body on September 8, at around 2:21 p.m. The investigation is still ongoing.
