The trial is underway for the man accused of causing the crash that killed a Harris County Precinct 5 deputy constable and her young daughter in 2024.
On the second day of testimony, Harris County Precinct 5 Assistant Chief Deputy took the stand as prosecutors continued presenting evidence against Omar Jose Alvarado.
Alvarado is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the death of a peace officer and intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle.
