Laredo police present body camera policy to city council
The Laredo Police Department presented its body camera policy to City Council, highlighting that officers have used over 450 body cameras for more than a decade during all enforcement encounters.

LAREDO, Tex.
(KGNS) -The Laredo Police Department told City Council Monday, July 27, that it has maintained what it described as a "very robust" body camera policy for more than a decade and that officers' use of the cameras is required by law.
The department said it currently has more than 450 body cameras in use-deployed not only during traffic stops but during every enforcement encounter.
