MILAM COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed two are dead after a head-on collision in Milam County early Friday morning.

Around 8 a.m. Friday, the Milam County Sheriff's Office posted on social media that there had been a "major collision" on Farm to Market 485 and County Road 145. The highway was closed due to the crash.

DPS confirmed the deaths two individuals involved in the crash.
