SANDERSON, Texas (KOSA) - A mother and her two kids were rescued Saturday, June 13, in Terrell County after days stranded in the mountains.

Sheriff Thaddeus Cleveland said they were in the country illegally.

The sheriff's office got a 911 call from the mother asking for help in a mountainous area southwest of Sanderson.
