TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Some Upshur County residents may be temporarily without power at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Upshur Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation announced.

The scheduled power outage is expected to last around 30 minutes and will affect members in the Hall, Jefferson and Gethsemane area, the coop said."We recognize that power interruptions are never ideal however, this is necessary to maintain the reliability and safety of our electrical system," the coop wrote in a release.
