FORT WORTH, Texas (KLTV) - The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office has revealed the cause of death of a Lindale ISD elementary student who died April 16 at Velma Penny Elementary School in Lindale.

The office determined Adrian Sue Thompson, 8, died as a result of choking and her death was ruled accidental, according to a death investigation report.

Adrian died April 16 after choking during lunch in the school's cafeteria, Lindale ISD Superintendent Stan Surrat confirmed after her death.
