Big Spring DPS Bust Leads to Recovery of Stolen Trailer and $300K in Copper
BIG SPRING - A multi-state investigation led Texas DPS troopers to a stolen trailer from Georgia that was located at a Big Spring truck stop, where authorities say they also uncovered a large shipment of stolen copper tubing valued at more than $300,000.

A multi-state investigation led Texas DPS troopers to a stolen trailer from Georgia that was located at a Big Spring truck stop, where authorities say they also uncovered a large shipment of stolen copper tubing valued at more than $300,000.
According to DPS, troopers tracked down the semi after receiving information it had entered the area.
During the stop, investigators identified the driver as a suspect wanted on active felony warrants out of Georgia.
