SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - Sherman Fire and Rescue received life-saving awards at a city council meeting Monday night for rescuing two people from a burning home in April.
On April 19, 22 firefighters and two police officers responded to a family's home fire.
When they arrived, bystanders were at the scene."There were a lot of bystanders on the scene, I was first on scene, and there was a lot of people in a state of confusion," said Bryan Adams, Sherman Battalion Chief.
