CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A new exhibit honoring Corpus Christi icon Ronnie "Pointy Boots" Mathis is now on display at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History.

The exhibit features personal items on loan from Mathis' family and close friends, giving visitors a closer look at the man known for his colorful personality, creative expression, and longtime presence around the city.

Among the items on display are Mathis' bicycle, suits, jacket and rings.
