The Fredericksburg High School boys golf team turned in a strong showing at its home tournament Oct. 26 at Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course.

Fredericksburg Red finished second with a team score of 300, just four strokes behind tournament champion Kerrville Tivy.

Nicklaus Meade led the Billies with a 72 to finish as the third-place individual medalist.
