LAREDO, Tex.
(KGNS) - Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa made a stop in Laredo July 10, pushing what she is calling a "Corruption Tax Refund."The state representative is challenging Gov. Greg Abbott in November.
She said the state has been sitting on nearly $25 billion in the state's rainy day fund and wants to return that money to Texans."This week, we have rolled out my plan... to put money in your pocket with a $1,500 check to every Texas household," Hinojosa said.
