WOODWAY, Texas (KWTX) - Families and caregivers affected by Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia gathered Tuesday for the McLennan County Alzheimer's Caregiver Expo, an event aimed at connecting people with local services, education and support.
The free expo, now in its fourth year in McLennan County, ran from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at First Woodway Baptist Church.
Organizers described the event as a "one-stop shop" for people caring for loved ones with dementia."It is a one-stop shop that is a free service to the community where we hope to get those caregivers who are providing care to their loved ones," said Erica Reyes Rosas, a licensed clinical social worker with Baylor Scott & White Internal Medicine and Senior Health Center.
