COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - College Station City Council members are signaling they may pull out of the city's $250,000-a-year agreement tied to Plug and Play, a tech incubator and innovation network pitched as a pipeline for new companies and jobs in Aggieland.

The issue surfaced during July budget workshops, where multiple council members directed staff to bring the contract back for a formal vote.

The discussion is scheduled for Thursday in executive session under economic incentive negotiations, listed on the agenda as a "funding agreement with Greater Brazos Partnership for services related to Plug and Play," citing Texas Government Code 551. 087.
