Boerne High made the drive down to Corpus Christi to participate in the 2026 Islander Splash.

It's a good race to be in because it's where the upcoming regional cross-country meet will be held and it gives the runners a preview of the course.

Both Boerne teams ran in the Gold race and the Lady Hounds were seventh and the BHS boys finished 27th.
