With the first day of school set for August 13, Big Spring ISD Superintendent Jay McWilliams says the district is entering the new academic year with momentum, optimism, and a renewed focus on student success.
In an interview on Big Spring Today , McWilliams said activity is already picking up across campuses as staff return and students begin participating in summer programs like athletics and band.
"You start seeing kids come back, and that's when the excitement really builds," McWilliams said.
