At their Spring Award Breakfast on May 28, The GVTC Foundation celebrated two decades of community impact, recognizing 92 nonprofits and awarding nearly $350,000 through their spring 2026 grant and sponsorship program, according to a press release.

GVTC is a member-owned communications cooperative that delivers fiber-based connectivity across the Hill Country and South-Central Texas, and the foundation has invested more than $7. 5 million in local communities over the past 20 years.

At the Spring Awards Breakfast, nonprofit organization representatives from across the foundation's service area, comprising 11 counties, gathered to celebrate and explore opportunities for collaboration, partnership and resource-sharing aimed at strengthening community impact, the release stated.
