(KLTV) - The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is located on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., just north of the Lincoln Memorial.

But to some of our Heroes Flight veterans, being there felt like a walk back in time to the jungles of Vietnam.

They shared some of the memories of experiences they had and friends they lost during the war as they visited the memorial on day two of the Brookshire Grocery Company Heroes Flight trip to our nation's capitol.
