GRIMES COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - As two Grimes County school districts prepare to vote Monday on SpaceX's proposed Terafab tax agreements, newly obtained state records are revealing what happened behind the scenes during the application process, including an admission from SpaceX's own attorney that the project's headline investment figure is a "good-faith estimate."KBTX obtained 24 documents from the Texas Comptroller's office through a public records request filed last month.

The records cover the review process for eight JETI tax incentive applications filed by TeraFab AI, LLC - a SpaceX special-purpose entity - with Iola ISD and Anderson-Shiro CISD.
