Twang Brands, the San Antonio-based purveyor of beer salts and michelada mixes, has sold the part of its business that markets products to national and regional foodservice brands, according to company officials.

Solina USA Inc. - a U.S. division of a top European custom ingredient manufacturer - has purchased Twang Foodservice, which produces customized beverage systems, dry beverage mixes, flavor concentrates and seasonings for the foodservice industry.

The companies didn't reveal terms of the sale.
